a floating gallery both figuratively and literally
Akin to a puddle jumper, Float is an exhibition space which moves from one body of water to another. Each iteration of Float offers the opportunity to view the work of a new artist. Exhibitions are temporary and sometimes last just a week, a day or even a few hours, all dependent upon the unique body of water which hosts the exhibition. OPEN CALL from June 1 to July 1, 2024.
What to include in your submission: Please include name and contact information. Social/Website links. Brief project description, including the exact location, a sketch (optional). Please also tell us the category of body of water and materials that you will use. Remember, this can happen anywhere there is a body of water. Artists and gallery alike must be committed to leaving no trace when a float exhibition occurs in a natural environment.
