Hello, I’m Frankie.

I make art in many forms: video, performance, painting - often bringing them together as immersive installations. I’m currently working on a photo book about my town and a multi-channel video piece in which I channel my grandparents through familial reenactment, wondering about the gaps in my family archive.

In Eastern New Mexico, you can find me at my studio, SURPRISES, dreaming up participatory installations and chasing inspiration with the tumbleweeds in the High Plains. I teach filmmaking, photography, and drawing at Eastern New Mexico University and conspire with fellow creatives to hatch new projects on the High Plains. My side quests have included UNFURLED, a community project, and Pumpernickel Palace, a playful video series for kids and families.
